Synopsis

Washed-up porn actress Sari, 42, gets fired from her last role and has to find a new way to make a living. She teams up with Linnea, 22, an aspiring director who struggles to get into film school. Together they start a company that produces feminist, erotic films and begin a journey to fulfill women’s desires – and their own.

A dive into the hidden reality of the pornographic industry, Money Shot relates the everyday life of Sari, a washed up actress who is looking to reinvent herself. Jemina Jokisalo writes with delicacy and wit, a character in the midst of a rebirth who, faced with adversity, shows ruthless determination and willpower.
