Clubs
CANNESERIES Industry gathers 6 clubs focusing on the different sections of the series industry: screenwriters, producers of both drama and docuseries, commissioners, music composers, technicians, casting directors, students.
These clubs run in parallel with the Festival and are thought by our teams as “boutique” events, with a tailor-made program over 1 or 2 days, in Cannes, with a limited number of international participants, with hopefully the beginning of stories to be written at CANNESERIES!
- Between 40 and 50 screenwriters from all over the world, as well as a hundred alumni from previous seasons
- Both established and emerging profiles
- A 2-day Think Tank with roundtables and panels
- An opportunity for screenwriters, whose position is often solitary, to meet and exchange ideas
- Opportunities to meet attendees of other clubs, including the Producers Club
- 70-80 French and international producers
- A tailor-made program with a limited number of roundtables and panels
- Informal quality time to meet each other and attendees of other clubs, noticeably the screenwriters
- One day in common, and one day focused to drama for some producers, and on docuseries for others
THE CONCLAVE
CANNESERIES Industry will host the Broadcasters' Conclave created in 2013 by Série Series. This exclusive club of European broadcasters, that offers a unique behind-closed-doors exchange, brings together heads of drama from Europe's public and private channels to discuss the key issues facing the sector and their position. It is scheduled as part of the Producers Club for professionals, and will be hosted by Marie Barraco, Head of Série Series.
