These Clubs are designed by our teams as an exclusive space with a limited number of participants — a bubble of creativity where they can meaningfully share their current challenges and the future vision of their professions, with the undisguised dream that the series of tomorrow will be born and written at CANNESERIES.
Participants in the Clubs are invited by the CANNESERIES team and selected according to specific criteria. Please note that a CANNESERIES INDUSTRY accreditation does not grant access to these private sessions.
- Between 40 and 50 screenwriters from all over the world

The CANNESERIES Docuseries Club is a think tank dedicated to documentary series. At the heart of the festival, alongside the official selection, it brings together around twenty creators, producers, broadcasters, and industry experts to analyze current trends and imagine those of tomorrow.
What are the new narrative territories for documentary series? How are production and distribution models evolving? Which emerging formats could shape the years ahead?
Over two working sessions, Club members exchange and debate their observations, experiences, and insights to map the future of docuseries. These discussions are then distilled into a pitch deck, titled “Trends in Docuseries”, which is shared with the wider industry and highlighted in the specialized press.
The goal is clear: to make CANNESERIES a moment of collective reflection that sends a strong, inspiring signal to the global industry.
