CANNESERIES expands its BtoB program with CANNESERIES INDUSTRY

Building on the success of the first professional events launched a few years ago (CANNESERIES Writers Club and Producers Club), the Festival CANNESERIES will develop, under the brand new name CANNESERIES INDUSTRY, 6 clubs focusing on the different sections of the series industry: screenwriters, producers of both fiction and documentary series, broadcasters, music composers, technicians, casting directors, students.

During Season 8 of CANNESERIES, which will take place from April 24 to April 29 2024, each club will enable professionals from each of these positions to meet, over 1 or 2 days, in a studious yet relaxed atmosphere. The days will be structured around well-chosen topics and a limited number of panels to leave plenty of time for exchanges between participants and between the attendees of the different clubs.

These professional Rendez-Vous are curated by our team as tailor-made events, with a limited number of international participants. We're convinced that today's professionals value quality over quantity. Providing them with a privileged setting within the Festival, with a timetable that leaves room for real moments of informal exchange, will enable them to respond to their very concrete issues on the one hand, and to have a better understanding of the other positions issues of the industry on the other hand. The aim of these meetings is to create links and excitement between participants, who often have solitary jobs, to increase their 360° knowledge of the industry, and to create new opportunities for everyone, with hopefully the beginning of stories to be written at CANNESERIES!

We also aim to cultivate a cross-disciplinary approach, integrating participants from our Official Selection into our professional events, and allowing professionals to attend screenings of series in Competition, as well as Festival ceremonies and parties.

CANNESERIES Industry accreditations will open on Monday, December 2.
