The CANNESERIES Competition will take place from March 27th – April 1st, 2020. 10 series from all over the world will be screened on the large, technologically-advanced screen of the Lumière Theater at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.

Legendary Hollywood producer Gale Anne Hurd produced and co-wrote The Terminator, which was followed by Oscar-winners, The Abyss, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and The Ghost and the Darkness. Additional credits include Armageddon, The Incredible Hulk, and Sundance Audience Award-winner The Waterdance, among many others.
Hurd is an Executive Producer of AMC’s The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and the new World Beyond. A ‘Walking Dead’ feature film was recently announced, with Hurd serving as a Producer. She is a Consulting Producer on Talking Dead, and an EP on Amazon’s Lore and USA Network’s Falling Water.

Stewart Copeland has spent more than three decades at the forefront of contemporary music as a rock star and acclaimed film composer, as well as in the disparate worlds of opera, ballet, and chamber music.
Recruiting Sting and Andy Summers in 1977, Copeland is renowned as the founder of The Police, a band that became a defining force in rock music.
Copeland has been responsible for some of the film world's most innovative and ground-breaking scores. His numerous film scores include Oliver Stone's Wall Street, Francis Ford Coppola's Rumble Fish and the Oscar-nominated Four Days in September. His work in television includes contributions to The Equalizer, Desperate Housewives and the Emmy-nominated series Dead Like Me. He also scored the blockbuster hit video game ‘Spyro’.

After starting her acting career in the theatre, Camille Cottin enjoyed success on television on Canal+ with the leading role in Connasse, co-created by Éloïse Lang and Noémie Saglio. From 2015 till now, she played one of the main characters in the series Call my agent which was broadcast in France and worldwide thanks to Netflix. In 2019, she became the French Fleabag in the Canal+ adaptation of the popular British series directed by Jeanne Herry. She will soon be in season 3 of Killing Eve and in Stillwater, from Tom McCarthy, alongside Matt Damon.

Twenty-seven-year-old British-Rwandan actor Ncuti Gatwa began his career on the stage; his work includes leading roles at The Globe and the Home Theatre in Manchester. He trained at the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
In 2019, Ncuti joined the Netflix series, Sex Education, in which he plays the lovable and solar Eric Effiong, Otis' (Asa Butterfield) best friend. Among an eclectic cast of well-known actors and promising voices, he quickly stands out for his extravagance, humor and great sensitivity, to the point of earning the audience's favor and becoming one of the show's most popular characters.
