Synopsis

In the south of France, the leader of a Gypsy community and her two sons struggle to save their clan threatened with eviction by rising waters. To survive, they will have to cross the boundaries of legality and fight their way through a dark and dangerous world... all the while concealing the unspoken secret that has haunted their family for seven years.

Jean-Charles Hue, a renowned filmmaker known for Mange tes morts and La BM du seigneur, brings all his talent and directorial ambition to create a contemporary West Side Story. Following the themes of his previous films, he takes us to the heart of Camarque, into a threatened Gypsy community facing rising waters and secrets that are more than ever at risk of being exposed. The future of the clan rests in the hands of a matriarch, portrayed by a haunting Céline Sallette, ready to do anything to protect the secret that haunts her family.
