Synopsis

Yasmine, who struggles with Tourette’s Syndrome, leads a sheltered life and tutors at home, while her dream of becoming a teacher feels out of reach. Her world changes when her terminally ill father Abdulmalek, absent for 25 years, seeks contact to ask for forgiveness.

Holy Shit! follows Yasmine, a passionate young woman who dreams of being a teacher, but whose Tourette syndrome forces her to face the judgment of a society still unfamiliar with this type of disability. Inspired by a docu-series, this bold and heartfelt comedy features Mona Mina Leon (1985) in a dazzling performance. A coming-of-age story as funny as it is impactful, celebrating difference with accuracy, freshness and humanity.
