Fanny Sidney: a woman of cinema and series
Fanny Sidney studied at the Cours Florent before joining the directing department of la Fémis.
She wrote and directed several short films selected at the Clermont Ferrand and Angers festivals, in parallel with her acting career.
During her studies, she appeared in Mesrine with Vincent Cassel, Respire under the direction of Mélanie Laurent and Hippocrate by Thomas Lilti. She also appeared in series such as Hard and Casting(s) by Pierre Niney, before being revealed for her role as Camille Valentini in the series Call My Agent!.
Co-director of the mini-series Loulou, which won the crystal globe for Best Web-Series in 2019, director of Jeune et Golri, which won the award for Best Series at Séries Mania in 2021, and Brigade Mobile, which is scheduled to be released on arte.tv this winter, she is currently preparing the adaptation of Chloé Wary's comic book, Saison des Roses for the cinema.
