Diego Luna: from Narcos to Star Wars, the Mexican actor who conquered Hollywood
What an incredible career Diego Luna has had since he was discovered 20 years ago with his mate Gael Garcia Bernal in Y tu mamá también by Alfonso Cuarón. Actor, producer, and director, Diego Luna has made a strong entrance in the world of television with Narcos: Mexico. Before becoming the star of the highly waited series Andor on Disney+, he tells us about his last creation Todo va a estar bien, that came out on Netflix last August.
Diego has participated in more than 30 films such as Y tu mamá también (2001), directed by Alfonso Cuarón; Milk (2008), by Gus van Sant; Star Wars: Rogue One (2016) by Gareth Edwards and the TV series Narcos: México (2018). He has directed four feature films premiered at festivals including Sundance, Cannes and Berlinale. In 2018, together with Gael García Bernal, he launched La corriente del golfo, a company dedicated to the production of film, theater, television and community projects. This year, he premiered his latest series, Todo va a estar bien, of which he was the creator and director.
