Adam Price: creator of Borgen and precursor of international fiction

If international fiction is going so well, it’s mostly because of the Danish showrunner Adam Price’s talent. The exceptional success of the series Borgen, has proved that series can travel the world, whatever the language or nationality. Adam Price, a true pioneer also behind the series Ride upon the storm, talks with CANNESERIES as we await the newt season of Borgen, soon on Netflix.

Adam Price is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning screenwriter and playwright. He is the creator and head writer behind the political drama series Borgen, which has been sold to more than 80 countries and has been awarded with a BAFTA Award for Best International Drama, a Prix Italia Award, a FIPA d’Or for Best Drama, a Peabody Award as well as the Danish TV Award for Best Drama for three consecutive years. Adam is currently working on the 4th season of Borgen which is set to air on DR in 2022. His latest TV series Ragnarok is available globally on Netflix. Before that, Adam created and wrote Ride Upon the Storm (DR Drama, 2017 – 2018), awarded with the Content London C21 International Drama Award for Best Non-English Language Drama, as well as the Danish TV Award for best TV Series for two consecutive years.
