Melha Bedia

Discussion with showrunner and actress Melha Bedia. French speaking audience only.

In 2013, Melha Bedia first appears on our screens in the series Les Lascars (Canal+), in which she plays a role for two seasons. She then continues on acting in the series Ma pire angoisse, but also in feature films such as À toute épreuve, Tout schuss, Pattaya or Hibou. But it’s in 2020 that she truly becomes a hit with her one-woman show Fat and Furious at the Théâtre du Marais and the Prime Video film Forte (2020), that she also wrote. In 2022, Prime Video also welcomes her first series as a creator, in which she stars as Miskina la Pauvre. Recently, she has been a part of several films as Tout simplement Noir, La Très Très Grande Classe and Youssef Salem a du succès (beginning of 2023). She is currently working on several screenplays and her next show.
