Oliwina, a young journalist returns to her hometown of Agouwé, in Gabon that she left 15 years due to a traumatic event, to investigate the disappearance of her teen brother. As she arrives, the bodies of five unidentified children are found in a nearby mangrove. In this small town surrounded by ocean and mangroves, Mami WATA’s name is on everybody’s lips.
