Les Génériques de Séries

Before its broadcast on CANAL+, preview of the documentary Les génériques de séries (52'), directed by Olivier Joyard, film and series critic for Les Inrockuptibles. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director.

At once a reassuring blanket and a half-open window on captivating stories, a preliminary to fiction and an art object in itself, the opening credits hold a special place in our relationship with these series that increasingly shape our cultural and intimate lives. We want to decipher its ever-renewed stakes, its long and rich history, its forms and its powerful imagination.
