Synopsis

In a single day, Emma’s life changes forever. She learns she’s an heir to one of Norway’s oldest and wealthiest shipping dynasties. Her estranged father, who recently passed, secretly added her to his will and the family business. But her four newly discovered siblings aren’t exactly thrilled by her sudden arrival.

Nepobaby, a new Norwegian creation co-written by Henriette Steestrup, the mastermind behind the brilliant Pørni, once again proves the subtlety of her writing and her ability to blend comedy and family drama. Between both genres, the series unfolds with fresh and biting humor, amplified by rhythmic and striking directing. The plot follows Emma, who suddenly discovers that she belongs to one of the most powerful dynasties in the country. Immersed in a family with siblings as eccentric as they are unpredictable, she tries to navigate this new world. The chemistry of the cast, led by Vivild Falk Berg, brings to life a colorful array of characters and injects the series with vibrant energy.
