Synopsis
Bárbara, Maca and Elena are friends from school. Bárbara is stuck in a job she hates and addicted to benzos. Maca is struggling to make it as an actress. Elena is married and pregnant, apparently living her dream life. When Bárbara hits rock bottom, everything is set to explode.

We were already familiar with Macarena Garcia’s dramatic power through La Mesias, but it is truly invigorating to discover her comic timing and razor-sharp punchlines in Many People Need to Die - a dark humor gem - as part of a trio alongside Anna Castillo and Laura Weissmar. Creator Victoria Martín delivers a successful adaptation of her bestselling novel, in which its cynicism is magnified on screen.
