Magnus Undredal, an idiotic genius detective, tries to solve a murder rooted in Norse mythology. He teams up with a suicidal partner and his scrawny young neighbor. These three outcasts embark on an adventure that becomes increasingly strange as the story unfolds. As Magnus gets closer to solving the case, the world as we know it changes, as mythical creatures trickle out from the wintery forests of Norway...
