Synopsis
The world has ended! A virus attacking people’s brains causes intelligence to drop to unsurvivable levels world-wide. In the ashes of Norway, six survivors carry the only hope for mankind’s further existence.
Note from the artistic direction
Dumbsday, or the height of unfettered humor of which Norwegians are very fond of, relates the initiatory trip of a group of six oddballs who hold the future of humanity in their hands following a deadly pandemic. As if Tolkien had written “The Fellowship of the losers”, and in the same vein as Magnus, presented during CANNESERIES season 2, Dumbsday goes very far into absurd comedy and plays with the classic codes of adventure tales. If you don’t get irony, move along !
