Synopsis
On March 2, 2022, the prison murder of Yvan Colonna—convicted for the assassination of Prefect Érignac—set Corsica ablaze. Retracing the life of an activist who became a symbol, this three-part series (3 x 45’) chronicles 60 years of latent war and misunderstandings between the island and Paris.

Symbol, martyr, independence fighter, criminal - Yvan Colonna’s name has been associated with many words. By retracing his journey, drawing notably on powerful and previously unheard testimonies, and with the beauty of Corsica woven throughout, the series also aims to be a portrait of the political, territorial and generational conflicts that run through the island.
