The Konbini Commitment Award is given since five years to talent who have distinguished themselves by the artistic quality and societal, innovative and/or revolutionary dimension of their work. We are proud to present this year's award to Nicola Coughlan.
Irish actress, she achieved international success with her role as Penelope Bridgerton/Lady Whistledown in Netflix’s record-breaking series, Bridgerton. Nicola is also well-known for her role in the award-winning hit comedy series, Derry Girls, in Big Mood or the Barbie movie.
She will be at the Festival on Monday, April 28 to receive her Honorific Prize and to give an exceptional masterclass in which she will look back on her career and the positions she has taken (free admission upon reservation - more info on ticketing soon).
