Bertrand Usclat: Host of the Opening Ceremony

CANAL+, CANNESERIES’ official partner, will exclusively broadcast the Opening Ceremony of its Season 7 on Friday, April 5 th at 8:30 p.m. It will be presented in the Grand Auditorium Louis Lumière of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès by author and comedian Bertrand Usclat.

Even if he has long dreamt of a career in politics, comedy won out. After going to the Conservatoire national supérieur d’art dramatique, Bertrand Usclat co-founded the group YES VOUS AIME, with his classmates Moustafa Benaïbout, Pauline Clément, Johann Cuny and Guillaume Cremonese. They made a name for themselves thanks to short comedy videos and a YouTube channel with more than 200 million views. In 2018, Bertrand plays different characters in the spoof BROUTE. It’s an instant success: 3 seasons will be made in only four years, and add up to more than 500 million views.
Bertrand continues his journey into cinema. He was part of at least three films in 2022: Menteur, Loin du périph and Jumeaux mais pas trop, offering him his first lead role. The next year, he played a role in Second Tour by Albert Dupontel. In 2024, he will be seen in the new “Création Décalée” BROUTE 24 (8x15’) on CANAL+.
