Biography
Jean-Jacques Annaud is a French director, screenwriter and producer best known for his films La Guerre du Feu, Le Nom de la Rose, L'amant, Sept Ans au Tibet and Le Dernier Loup. He has received numerous awards for his work, including four Césars, the David di Donatello award for best film and a National Academy of cinema Award. His first film, La Victoire en Chantant, won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.
