CANNES MINI-SERIES is a screening of web series that high school students from the Academy of Nice work on throughout the year. The Academic Delegation for Arts and Cultural Education of Nice presents its eighth web series as part of its partnership with CANNESERIES. This original project is based on a collaborative approach between music students and filmmaking students. Some also worked with cultural partners, including Le Cercle Rouge and Cannes Cinéma. As part of the Year of Marcel Pagnol, the series is titled Under the Auspices of Marcel and is inspired by a line from The Schpountz — « Tu n’es pas bon à rien, tu es mauvais à tout » — which serves as the common thread running through each episode, approached with a light-hearted tone.”
