- ALEKSANDROWIZ Izabela, 26 years old, Polish.
Studied at the Lodz Film School, Poland (partner school)
Starting her screenwriting adventure in high school by writing short stories for her bored colleagues during classes, Ms. Aleksandrowicz continued her passion at Łódź Film School. Debuting on the silver screen in 2015, with the movie „New World.” Over the next two years, Izabela worked as the Head of Storyline for the TV series, „First Love,” where she was an author of more than 200 episodes. Today, she works as a screenwriter for several medical TV dramas such as; “Interns”, „On the signal”, and her favourite „Heartbeat”.
- COBEN Charlotte, 23 years old, American.
Studied at Colombia University, USA
Charlotte is a recent graduate of Columbia University in New York City, where she currently resides. As a writing major with a focus in film, she has a passion for comedic and compelling storytelling and is thrilled to be a part of the Canneseries Institute.
- GALASSO Eleonora, 23 years old, Italian
Studied at the Schola Holden, Italia (partner school)
Eleonora Galasso was born in Palermo, Sicily in 1994. After graduating university with a bachelor’s degree, she attended the screenwriting course at Scuola Holden and then participated in several workshops and masterclasses in screenwriting. Currently, she is a bursary holder at the Advanced Training Course in screenwriting organized by the Marco Bellocchio Association and is collaborating with Scuola Holden as a teaching assistant.
- KABUIKI Ruddy-Williams, 35 years old, French
Studied at Serial Eyes, Germany. (Partner school)
Ruddy graduated from the University Charles de Gaulle in Arts Media and Communication. He then studied screenwriting at Langara College in Vancouver, Canada. Back in France, Ruddy co-directed the documentary “L’amour en Cité”. Eager to experience the writer’s room, he attended Serial Eyes, an European postgraduate training program for television writers . At the end of the program, Ruddy has been selected for a three-month TV writing apprenticeship at Big Light Productions. A company headed by showrunner Frank Spotnitz. Currently, he’s developing TV series and documentaries.
- KYRIACOU Andreas, 34 years old, Cypriot
Studied at Midpoint, Czech Republic (partner school)
Studied film at London's Raindance Institute and has worked in various production houses in Cyprus since 2006. He curates various local film festivals including the Cyprus Film Days for Children & Youth. In 2016 founded the creative collective hive “GeekOtopos”, teaming up Cypriot storytellers with the aim of creating modern narratives. He is currently developing a European mini series based on his concept “The Midnight Shift” that won the HBO-Europe Award in Sarajevo
- LYUBARSKAYA Elena, 36 years old, Russian.

Elena Lyubarskaya is based in Berlin and writes in English and Russian. After writing a Russian prime-time teen dramedy „Barvikha“ (TNT, 2011) and crime drama „Chtest“ (TV3, 2015), she moved to Germany and took part in Serial Eyes - Europe’s premiere postgraduate program for TV-writers and producers. Elena loves working on genre series, comedy and projects with an international perspective. She has projects in development with Wildside (Italy), Saxonia Media (Germany), Audible (Germany), Stardust (Russia), ProSieben Sat.1 (Germany). She has twice won the German Writer’s Guild/Pro Sieben Sat 1. development fund competition with her political thriller „The Whistleblowers“ and female-driven crime procedural “The Hunter”.
- McVEIGH Sophie, 36 years old, British,
Studied at the London Film School, UK (partner school)
Originally from the UK, Sophie McVeigh lived and worked as a journalist, editor and teacher in London, Paris and the south of Spain before gaining her Masters in Screenwriting from the London Film School. Sophie graduated with Distinction and has since worked with filmmakers from all over the world as a writer, script editor and script consultant. She has written for the LFS website, teaches English and screenwriting to filmmakers and has recently translated from Spanish to English the directorial debut of screenwriter Gonzalo Maza, whose current film A Fantastic Woman is nominated for an Oscar. A short film she wrote, Cry, is about to be released and she is currently developing another short, a feature film and a TV comedy pilot with fellow LFS graduates. She is extremely passionate about writing original drama and comedy for television, and as a French and Spanish speaker and lover of European culture she is very excited to be a part of the inaugural Canneseries Festival. She looks forward to the chance to meet, collaborate with and learn from writers and TV professionals from around the world.
- RIVALORI Anita, 34 years old, Italian.
Studied at the centro sperimentale di cinematrografia, Milan, Italie
Anita is a Italy-based screenwriter and director. She studied at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (National Film School) and worked for popular shows such as "Tutto può succedere 2", remake of the NBC TV series Parenthood, and "Skam", remake of the Norwegian TV series.
As director, she filmed shorts and music videos. Her first feature-lenght documentary is currently in post-production. She’s currently developing a sci-fi and a period drama.
