When Heroes Fly takes a leap!

Fly over a cool-cool fest.
 
Even though CANNESERIES only last a few days, we follow the sucess stories of our favorite shows all year long. Designed as a launching pad putting tomorrow's hit series in the spotlight, the festival was thrilled to grant the Best Series Award to the Israeli show When Heroes Fly during our first edition in 2018.
 
 
Renewed for a second season
Unexpected hit, the initiatory show follows the complex friendship path of four former soldiers leaving together to look for one of the group members' sister in the midst of the Colombian jungle ; and was renewed for a sophomore season of eight to ten episodes.
 
Available on Netflix on January,10th
We urge you to devour this nugget of a show without moderation. No better way to start the new year than to binge-watch this amazing story of friendship and adventure built on the backgrounds of post-war trauma and Columbian drug cartels. 
 
An American adaptation in development
These heroes do not fly coach and the show is going global: after beating audience records in Israel When Heroes Fly, will soon have its US version. Keshet International, global production and distribution company, arm of the mediatic Israeli giant Keshet,will lead the project. After suceeding with the adaptation of Prisoners of Wars with the international recognition of Homeland, no doubt we shall expect something great.
 

 

 
When (Super)-Heroes Fly
Tomer Capon (right), who plays Aviv Danino in the show, was recently cast in the new Amazon series The Boys, to be directed by Seth Rogen. The show will tell about the infamous lives of super-heroes embracing their darker sides whilst taking advantage of their fame and celebrity.
